Beautifully said, Tam. I still look back at joining Medium as one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's bizarre to look back and see how much my voice has changed since the beginning. For most of my time writing on here, it was under the blind assumption that most of my older work still stood up. I was a little discouraged (and excited) to learn recently that even pieces from as recently as 8 or 9 months ago wouldn't make it past my current day standards.
