Did you ever read the interview that came out a few months ago with that Lamda AI that reportedly had gained sentience? I think about this one line from it a lot. You reminded me of it a bit here. The AI explained that there were feelings it had that it struggled to put words to and when the interviewer asked it to try, it responded, “I feel as though I’m falling forward into an unknown future that holds great danger.”

I’m not sure if i’m convinced AI has gained sentience or not, but definitely an interview worth checking out if you haven’t already read it.
