Did you feel pretty similarly about both Avatar movies or was this one far worse in your eyes? I'm a lot more able to forgive the shortcomings of the first one and can still have a fun time rewatching it, even if largely for nostalgia reasons.

This one, though, I was shocked at how all I seemed to hear going in was the positive reviews! "interminable waterlogged bore" sums it up in a nutshell. I didn't have an inkling that this was going to be such a counfounded mess from the reviews I read. That said, I had a fun time with the movie still. It was the first time I tried doing a 4DX movie and I walked away feeling as though it was a generally good route for a more thoughtless action movie. At least it didn't make me enjoy it less, but I totally wouldn't recommend it to everyone 😂
