Do you also consider your AI a she? Hahaha. ChatGPT I've taken to giving the same gender as my Siri and Alexa, too. I will admit that it's improved a lot, but its ability to craft a human-sounding story still falls far, far below its AI image generator counterpart's ability to generate novel-seeming art.
In the text above, it's analytical and makes great sense of the text it's been given, but if it tried to incoprorate my writing style into a piece of its own, it would mostly perform the functions of an advanced thesaurus.
I sometimes run my piece by ChatGPT and get feedback, but in terms of its ability to create a story that seems novel and human, I haven't really noticed any change whatsoever between ChatGPT 3 and 4. It's possible I'll eat my words in the future, but right now I'm feeeling hopeful about the future of real writers. Thanks for reading!
