Funnily enough, I was part of the way through reading it as you replied hahaha. Some of that was pretty eye-opening. I will say, though, that a lot of the pettiness of American politics they point toward, and the power of "October surprises" is why I'm not as discouraged about this June debate performance. If we can move on from entire wars in a week or two, I think we can pretty quickly forget about a bad debate performance. By the time November comes, I expect the political landscape to have changed 20 times over. June will be a distant memory. But I think there's a lot of merit to what you're saying about Trump's deeper understanding of how American people actually work. I just don't think he's got enough control over the entire political landscape to prevent whatever swing voter mind-changing event might happen with his campaign two days before the election.
