I don't really agree that it takes an expert on Christianity to understand its dangers. If anything, I think it's a more valid angle to arrive at through science. It's science that needs to prove Christianity correct. The Bible can't do that; it's circular thinking.
For it to be a book truly inspired by the creator of the universe himself, it's hard to imagine it would have such glaring scientific inaccuracies. It's hard to imagine entire commandments would be wasted on this God's ego and not anything more important. It doesn't take a biblical scholar to know that this Bronze Age book of stories is at odds with so many of the things that science has taught us. Its stories can still be useful, but it's not a book of science.
I sort of see where you're coming from about AI. I can see how that story can be compared on a metaphorical level, but it's hardly the same thing as "proof." And I do actually believe that there's something beyond the reach of science, I've just never seen a convincing reason to think that it's Jesus.
