Growing up, I was always a bit too passive and inassertive, myself. It wasn't until well into adulthood that I began to learn the art of saying no. I consider myself "kind but confrontational." Kindness is always the default, but I'm pretty quick to call out bs when I see it these days. Whether it's wise for me or not. Great piece, Julio.
