I actually got Boosted but the process is still largely mysterious to me. What's especially strange is that the publication I posted into doesn't even have Boosting powers. To me it didn't seem arbitrary why that specific piece of mine was selected, but I definitely have posted some since then that I think have been equally deserving. It's pretty odd that these stories could just be chosen through algorithms.
