I actually wouldn't say that's how I feel at all! After covid and the rise of the internet and social media, I feel as though there's nothing at all we can't grow used to as a species. AI is something I think we're already getting used to.

That said, I think there's no overstating the gravity of these achievements and the problems that will emerge from them in the future. I think this AI development is objectively one of the biggest changes we've gone through as a species yet, but I'm still loathe to start ringing alarm bells that this is the end. Our ability to adapt and persevere as a species is pretty unbelievable.
