I agree that this area of AI is probably the greatest pandora's box of all. I admit, though, that there are small parts about this possible integration that I find very exciting. I read an article a few months ago that said AI is getting to the point where it can nearly play our dreams back for us on TV screens by reading our brainwaves as we sleep. That to me is an incredibly exciting idea. I can't even begin to imagine how revelatory that would be.

The idea of neuralink scares me a bit now, but if in the future we get to a place where entire textbooks worth of information can be simply downloaded onto a chip... that'd be a pretty compelling draw. I wouldn't wanna be the first of the guinea pigs, but Neuralink generation four or five maybe once they have the worst of the kinks straightened out 🤷‍♂️
