I appreciate you not outright demonizing yoga or anything, but I admit I'm still a little confused here. Isn't the God of Christianity supposed to be forgiving? It's really hard for me to fathom how a being so unthinkable in scale could bother himself with how people on earth stretch. For me, yoga was never anything philosophical. It was just an especially effective way of treating back pain after an injury. Is there any real concern that you might incur some punishment from the creator of this 14 billion year old universe because of sacreligious stretching? I don't doubt that some something exists out there, but I just can't grasp that whatever that something is would be so petty as to have an opinion about what we do on yoga mats.
