I bought a 70 inch 4K TV before the pandemic thinking it was one of my most all-time ridiculous and superfluous purchases, and it's truly been the gift that keeps on giving. I love any excuse I can get to go to the movies, but these past few years I've found that theatre image quality leaves something to be desired by comparison. Above all else, I think most theatre screens could stand to be brighter. The immersion and experience factor is still a huge draw, but I've been wishing for awhile theaters could do a little more to compete with modern displays.
