I fully agree that these safeguards should be developed. I don’t expect it to be a very different situation than what came of the whole iPhone jailbreak back and forth between apple and hackers, but it would probably mitigate some of the damages.

The idea of “porn video sites developing detectors that ban AI produced porn” is no more black mirror than the AI porn itself I guess, but that so many of us are speaking sentences like this just puts me into such a place of technological surrealism.

I definitely see all of the ethical issues here. All of this AI stuff is turning everything on its head so quickly, though, that I feel that I can hardly blame the people experimenting with these new softwares any more than the ones who began watching internet porn when it first became available.
