I guess a federal constitutional republic or plutocracy is a bit more accurate. Another word I love that I learned for the first time the other day: Kakistocracy. It means leadership by the inept or least qualified. It's another pretty suiting one.

At the end of the day, we're certainly something short of a democracy, but our votes still do something and I think we're at serious risk of devolving into something far worse than we are already if Trump regains power. Thanks for reading, Mimosa!
