I had a very opposite upbringing as you where I think it was almost too okay to ask why. And then in school, many teachers hated me for being the student to challenge them for things that often truly deserved challenging. Sometimes it got me into trouble, but I'm glad I grew up an unrepentant why-asker. Beautiful piece, Barbara!!
