I have a pretty similar experience minus the violence! Do you also become aware that you're dreaming, but struggle to pick a new dream to have instead? I still haven't gotten very far with that side of lucid dreaming. I can take a dream a new direction, but rarelty pick a new dream entirely to have. Thanks for reading!
