I hope it didn't seem like there was any judgement in what I was saying. I could be wrong about this, but I thought you'd explicitly mentioned to me before that English wasn't your first language. Sorry if I misremembered that. I agree that no one's writing should in any way be judged by their counry of origin. Some of the best writers of all time in my eyes were non-native English speakers.
