I love the way you describe the editor relationship. Taking criticism is hard, and it's almost always those who are in need of it the most who are the least receptive to it. It's a challenging task sometimes, so I really appreciate you knowing that the comments left by editors are (at least most of them that I know) are generally meant in good spirit.
