I might actually have a bit of insight into the recommended articles situation! I don't disagree that it's pretty arbitrary as far as subject goes, almost invariably the articles of mine I see recommended at the bottom have been ones I've had boosted. So I've at least felt like it is a lot of my better work being recommended, but still nothing from stopping someone who's just read my philosophical treatise about the state of AI in the world from being immediately recommended my article about the genius of Spongebob or Rugrats lol. I just usually include box links for pieces I want people to actually read afterward. They really should just let us choose the recommendations. Not all of us have niches!
