I think Tim Denning is just great at appealing to the lowest common denominator. There's really not anything particularly unique or groundbreaking about what he does. His pieces often even have errors in them. His success to me is a crowning example of what's wrong with Medium. Of course pieces about earning 6-7 figures do well, they're clickbait.
