I understand what you mean, but what I’m saying is a little more nuanced than that. By "middle ground" I don't mean I'm neutral on this issue. More of what I'm saying is that just as MLK and Malcolm X were two different people in their approaches, I think it's important to understand there's a whole lot of gradation between protesting in the streets and having hate in your heart and committing actual violence toward endangered minorities. I think there are so many issues plaguing our species that each of us could spend entire lifetimes fighting for just the smaller ones. There are many well-intentioned people who just don't have the bandwidth to devote their time to all of it, and I don't think that it makes them bad people. Thanks for reading!
