I was always at least loosely aware that the wealthy are immune to jail time, but all of this ridiculous stalling and legal pageantry around Trump's trial has really made that clearer than ever before. It's impossible to imagine any private citizen getting away with even one tenth of what Trump has at this point. And that situation in Arizona is just too ridiculous for words.
