I was reluctant to love this one when my musician father first showed it to me at age 10 or 11, but I was very quickly captivated. Definitely deserves all the acclaim that it's earned over the years. I just watched it again recently and was shocked by how much I'd forgotten! May not be historically accurate, but it's a damn good movie all the same. Great review as always, Simon.
