I would still tend to defer to the stance in my piece and say that it's useful especially because he's a bully. Were it Romney or Mccain we were running against, I think your point here would hold a little more true for me. Romney was an objectively weird man in many ways, but I think that moment in time called for leaving the "weird" jokes to the late night comedians. I think this current moment calls for a shift in strategy and bullying the man who's unoffended by tyrant labels, and whose fans and opponents alike are numb to them anyway.
