I'd actually stubbornly forgotten that and crossed the line a bit with my Silence of the Lambs piece a couple of weeks ago. I like the way that's laid out in the guidelines. Sometimes film and politics are inherently connected and there's no exploring a film without getting into its politics. But Schindler's List isn't connected to the 2024 election in any direct way, so I think I could toe the line pretty fairly by just speaking broadly about the state of tyranny and democracy in the world. If I do ever cross a line, no offense taken if you need to turn something down!
