If I see a piece is being discovered by and large externally or I believe is very important, I add the friend link to the top of the piece like here. Substack has made me feel a little better about the free reads issue. I put my articles up for free there for the time being and have done decently well just relying on others' generosity. But Medium is still my better avenue for the time being. Thanks for reading!
