I'm a little stumped by how you ended up at a play written by Matt Stone and Trey Parker to begin with if you feel that way. Had you never seen South Park or any of their prior movies? Any of their interviews? It couldn't have been clearer beforehand what sort of musical I was walking into and I got exactly what I'd hoped for. It's not supposed to be like other pieces of theater and I'm happy that off the wall exceptions like this exist.
