I'm always jealous of the way that prior generations had a built-in escape from the whole social world each day. Ever since middle school, logging into Facebook has been a part of my day. I neevr really feel like I had those repreives from social pressures and comparisons that my parents did.

Like you, I've also largely stopped checking the feeds of my friends. It's easier when I'm doing better in life, but sometimes it just doesn't feel worth the mental health risk to see how spectacularly awesome everyone eles's carefully arrainged social media lives look. Thanks for sending this one in, Anna!
