I'm sorry, I didn't intend for that to be harsh. I'm just familiar with some of these arguments and they aren't that difficult to refute. It can be a little frustrating having to respond to that point about atheism for example. The using the bible to prove the bible is also faulty reasoning that would never stand on a debate floor.
I don't think all of your points were bad. That point about the Taliban I made was certainly inflammatory and I fully agree with you that Christians aren't typically coming from a malicious place when they say others are going to hell. I do take offense to some of those things you said, though, even if I don't really think you meant any offense. I think you're coming from a good place with your offensive ideas.
And to answer your question, Jesus was likely a real person, and I think a lot of the teachings attributed to him are great. I don't believe he performed any of the miracles that were attributed to him, though.
