Incredibly well said, Simon. I've always found it exceptionally rare for Christians to be able to admit any fault at all in the bible or the ways that it's been used. Peoples' thoughts on that specific point are one of my litmus tests for whether I feel that I can really respect what someone has to say on the subject. The belief that the bible is simply infallible is one I can hardly excuse and is incredibly frustrating to debate with.

So what are your thoughts on what God is exactly? if that's a question you can answer in a mere reply. And while I'm asking comically loaded questions, what do you think about other religions? Do you think that the connection their believers feel toward their God is equally valid as the one that you experience?
