It's a truly bizarre situation. On one hand, I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I've used AI-generated imagery before, and the ethical issues there are a bit different than with text generation. If I were an artist being replaced one of these programs, though, I'd be simply appalled. As much as I want to believe there's a future for writers, seeing what's happened with AI generation in this little time definitely concerns me. Sorry to hear about your friend!

Also, I'm not entirely sure if I understood that first point of yours about paying attention to the pubs that you want to work. Could you clarify that a little?
