It's an incredibly frustrating time to be an American citizen. All of the anti-immigrant rhetoric from these "red-blooded Americans" could hardly be more hypocritcical. It's hard to believe when we look back at words like Lazrus' that this is now the country seriously floating leaders like Donald Trump. It never gets any easier to wrap my head around.

This whole imaginary lines on a map system we've got creates far more harm than good. As you say, one year's shithole is another decade's safe haven.
