It's so funny how many of these strange things we say and never even think about! Weed and psychedelics especially definitely bring this same sort of thing out of me. It's something I've written about quite a bit actually!

I think most people spend their lives trapped looking at the world from a very dulled and subjective POV. My favorite feature of drugs is the ability to look at things that have begun to feel mundane in life through new eyes. I'll feel in awe of incredibly normal things like flowers, planes and cars. It also makes me challenge things we just do, and things we think of as normal. Psychedelics have really helped me to look at the world in a much more objective light.
