It’s something that only happened to me for the first time about a year ago, so I still feel like a beginner actually too! For me I’d attribute the success I’ve had to dream journaling and spending time reading about/processing dreams. The more you think about it in your waking life, the more likely you are to in a dream as well.

This hasn’t been one i’ve used really, but reality checks are a useful strategy for a lot of people. One common one is making a habit of looking at your hand throughout the day until it becomes a force of habit. The idea then is that in a dream when you do the same, you’ll see that your hand isn’t quite the same as in your waking life and you can enter a lucid dream from there.

Hope this helps!
