It’s such a weird aspect of Medium. It’s nice i guess that they were at least willing to admit it. What drives me up a wall sometimes is when people write articles celebrating their 1000th follower and fail to mention the 4000 random people they followed in order to get there lol. I’ve been a little tempted for awhile to give the strategy a try, I kinda reached a similar conclusion about how just 1% might actually start to engage. It still feels a bit like selling my soul though 😂
