I've gotta say, this is the first time that I've been outright perplexed by one of your opinions. Are there any polls or sources you could point me toward that suggest that RFK would have been the better choice for Democrats? His popularity is hardly higher than Trump's among the Left. Even before these most recent debacles, everyone I know that knew of him found him kind of odd, off-putting, creepy, and impossible to listen to speak for more than a few seconds. I wish it weren't as simple as his voice, but I think that alone would have made presidency utterly impossible for him in this career path that hinges so much on charisma.
I'd also be happy to bet quite a lot of money that Kamala doesn't lose in a landslide. I think it's hard to ever call a democrat a landslide loser when it's virtually impossible for them to even lose the popular vote. I think Kamala will win the popular vote by millions and that, because our system is kind of broken, the electoral college will still render this a close election. Even in the electoral college, though, I'm not expecting a landslide victory for Trump right now. But as I said in the article, and was a lot of my point for writing this, I'm definitely not discounting the possibility of his win. And I'm certainly not discounting the possibility he'll try to steal the election again, through either physical means like on January 6th, or through systematic means like the plot with the alternate slate of electors.
I'm curious to hjear some of what informs your stance on this one.
