I've noticed this, too, with vloggers in other countries as well! It seems like whenever someone makes a trip to the middle east, at some point in the video they make a point to say how wrong the West's perception is. And as with China, it often is. But that doesn't negate the fact that the regimes of the middle east are some of the most repressive, religious, and misogynistic in the entire world. As you say, every country has a balance.
