No judgement! Poetry is an art form I've always admired, but it's never one I've been very good at myself. It's one of the few avenues as a writer I've hardly explored at all, but I still always love seeing what people do with words. I can't say I ever got as far as reading a poetry book either, though.

I remember being very impacted by "The Road Not Taken" when I first heard it in middle school! Robert Frost is incredible. I think it may have even been the first poem I truly enjoyed. E.E. Cummings is probably my favorite poet of all time, though.

On a related note, Medium's got some pretty amazing writers and poets if you ever felt like investing in a membership! Edward Swafford's work I think you might really enjoy. Medium's begun making it a lot harder for non-medium members to build a following here with some of its recent policy changes, so I personally can't recommend it highly enough.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and poetry!
