On one hand, I do still have a slightly hard time believing that, autistic or not, he would have been totally unaware of the salute's historical precedent. But this yelling "He's a Nazi!!!" each time Republicans do something that Democrats disagree with is pretty typical. You're not wrong there. To my eye, the alarmism felt a little more warranted this time. I hope I'm wrong that the gesture meant anything. As a Jew myself, it's a little challenging to shrug it off as nothing. But I'm still a far cry away from yelling, "They're all nazis!"
