That’s a disortion of what I said. I was pretty clear in the piece that the best path forward would be the one where Trump ends up peacefully behind bars. I don’t see that happening. I think more likely is the chance this will end violently. And if it’s violence that results in Trump’s removal from politics, I think history will view it as necessary in the same way they do the ills that led up to other tyrants’ falls. Me personally, I’m a pacifist. I hope this election doesn’t result in violence.
