Really appreciate the comment. Even as someone who's written quite a few of these now, I can't say I disagree with you. It's something I've briefly addressed in a couple other of my pieces about how I can do no better with these than hammer in a sorely beaten nail and preach to a converted choir. It's especially defeating when I make those points and even then the article makes to difference to the seriousness of what's going on.

You're right that solutions are scarce, but they're not non-existent. I can advocate for voting and hope that one of these articles might reach even one or two people who feel differently than me, or who previously felt uninspired to vote. It's a small goal, and one I may or may not accomplish at all this election season. But I'd love to believe that if I've ever changed a mind before in the past, I can maybe do it again this year and play some small role in this current fight.
