Sometimes it's easy as Americans to forget how much it changed life not just for our country and for the Middle East, but for our neighbors and the entire world as a whole. As an adult at the time, I'm sure it must have been far, far harder for you to deal with than it ever was for me. It's still a strange memory for me to look back on. Almost like a dream.

It's amazing that there really is no type of crazy or bizarre that kids can't turn into background noise. Learning more and more about the chaos of the 2000s as an adult, it really is astonishing to think how fun and innocent that time period always felt for me when I was growing up through it.
