Sorry for the delayed reply! I wanteed to reply last night (morning) as I was beginning to fall asleep, but wanted to give this the full time it deserved. What an incredible story, Liberty. I know you briefly ran through some of the details of this beforehand, but really getting a full picture is just so touching. It would have broken my heart to hear him say "No more soup." That's truly incredible that people came together to make sure that you guys had a proper holiday. Did you never learn any more about who that might have been after the fact?
