Thanks, Maryanne! You actually made me curious to do re-read just now and I don't really agree with what you're saying. Not only is Bullock's name mentioned more times throughout the article, but there are entire paragraphs where only she's referred to. I give Clooney credit where it's due because he's certainly one of the movie's two main characters, but this is by no means an essay about his performance any more than it is Sandra's.
