I would say that it's best not to introduce anyone to religion until they're adults. In the same way that children take their parents' stories about Santa Claus at face value, young people are extremely impressionable to religious teachings. If you introduce a child to Islam, he'll likely grow up Muslim. If you introduce a child to Hinduism, he'll likely grow up Hindu. The same can be said of Christianity. The religions we practice are more a product of the cultures we're born into than they are truth. I think it's far healthier to arrive at our thoughts on life's greatest mysteries naturally.
