That is such a wonderful comment that I want to print it out and hang it somewhere I'll repeatedly be reminded of it. I think you're absolutely right. Memoirs are among my very favorite pieces to write, and living life is the fuel that it requires to write them. So much of the impetus for my first solo international trip a few months ago was to accumulate experiences to write about. I've been very eager to dip my feet into a much grander adventure in the near future. Even at only a few weeks in length, that trip was pretty life-changing for me.
