That's a great analogy. I'd never heard that before. Unfortunately, I think that you're right. When the beliefs are strong enough, we can find confirmation of them in almost everything we see. It's rare that I'm able to get very far in these conversations, but it occasionally happens. It's not something I force often at all. It usually is waste of time.
