That's been my approach to both as well. I've been largely enjoying Substack so far but it's definitely got its pitfalls. I'm not a huge fan of the Notes system. I expect it might ultimately become the more promising of the two platforms for me, but getting to that point will probably take some time.

I like the Karma Chameleon reference lol. I'm doing better than I had on here than when I joined back in 2022, but a lot of my current pay is just residuals from prior articles. January was my worst month since early 2023. I still have no plans to stop publishing here whatsoever, but I think this is the most confused and frustrated that I've ever been with the platform.
