That's one point I may have to disagree on! It really did something kind of magical for me as a 90s kid. One of my favorite movies I've seen all year. I have so much good to say about this one. Everything about the VHS experience, even if kind of weird and dark, is deeply nostalgic for me.

I think people go into this expecting horror will be as disappointed as I was looking for that in I'm Thinking of Ending Things. It definitely got creepy, but was oddly mesmerizing throughout.
