That's so incredible you were able to recover all those old photos! I can't imagine what a thrill that must have been. It reminds me of an experience I had a few months ago (to a much lesser extent) in resurrecting my old iPhone that had lingered in the bottom of a drawer broken for a decade. Seeing those old photos again, like you describe, really felt like recovering a lost part of myself. I wrote a piece about it if you're at all curious!

I'm thankful the photos of my early childhood still exist. Although, there are entire albums full of photos that--as a family we all agree that we should comb through--yet still never get around to actually doing it. One of those odd things in life we always seem to procrastnate on.

I loved seeing that old photo of you. It really brought to life everything you were saying and put a smile on my face. Thanks for sending this one in!
